Traffic Noise Protection Days 2017, Munich

The Noise Protection Trade Show was a total success

By Eng. Hartmut Basanow, Managing Director of DVLV e.V., Bonn

The second Munich Noise Protection Days 2017 were held on 16th and 17th February at the University of Applied Sciences. This year once again, many members of the DVLV e.V. attended both as exhibitors and visitors. Our exhibitors presented their new and innovative technical solutions in noise protection and wall construction, and lectures from industry experts provided some fascinating insights on various themes around noise protection.

The second Munich Noise Protection Days event was organised jointly by the VDEI Academy, the VSVI of Southern Bavaria, DVLV e.V., the University of Munich and the KIB Expert Committee at VDEI. We welcomed over 250 participants and visitors from the noise protection sector, including representatives from the federal, state and municipal authorities, planning and engineering firms, Deutsche Bahn AG and visitors from the noise protection sector. A professional platform was created for the 25 exhibitors and expert lectures to encourage industry representatives to exchange ideas and engage in discussions on sector-related topics. More in-depth discussions took place at the evening event. The feedback from participants, visitors and exhibitors was extremely positive. We were also delighted to welcome the President of the ENBF, Giovanni Brero to the event.
